Heads of State, Royalty and government
ministers can often be spotted here, as well as celebrities from
the film, fashion and music business. It is also a place where the
world's top decorators shop for that "special" object, yet it is
possible to find a gift here for under £20.00. Anything that you
have ever imagined being made will probably be found amongst the
maze of shops. Whether you seek one silver teaspoon to complete
a set or an ambassadorial flatware service to feed thirty-six guests
at a state dinner, you will be offered an unrivalled selection.
The Silver Vaults is not just a place to buy, but also a place where
one can sell, exchange, value and repair silver. Although work is
not carried out on the premises, many of the dealers use local workshops
to carry out the highly skilled job of antique restoration, and
all advice, except written valuations, is freely given.
Unlike street markets and general antique shops, the London Silver
Vault dealers are specialists in their fields.
Many are members of either the British Antique Dealers Association
or the London and Provincial Antique Dealers Association and all
of them belong to the London Silver Vaults Association whose Charter
strengthens the rules laid down by the above mentioned trade bodies,
thereby giving the customer protection and security in the knowledge
that the purchases that they make have been accurately described.
Our reputation is highly valued and therefore we all strive to
give excellence in quality and service at all times.
